She was amazing - very thorough, patient, and professional. She took the time to explain my eye test results, eye health, and glasses recommendations in detail. I never felt rushed, even though the appointment took a bit longer than expected. A great experience overall. Thank you, Rajal - very much appreciated.

I don’t understand why I’m paying direct debit every month for contact lenses, and I still have to ring them up to chase my order. I never had this issue with Specsavers. I will be contacting the retail ombudsman services

- DBDavid BanfieldMay 4, 20265.0Overall my review is five stars but I have a slight giggle which I think should be addressed. On the plus side, my eye exam was very good. The lady, who's name I forgot, was very knowledgeable, informative and thorough. The experience was all good. Here is the slight niggle, I am a pensioner which means my eye test is free, however, a payment of £6 was taken from me. Upon querying this item I was told it was for a "scan". I couldn't catch the name of this scan but I paid anyway. Maybe I'm naive but did not request any special scan so I do feel a little bit scammed. Opticians are well known for all their add ones and upgrades and I feel like this is yet another one. In my opinion every cost should be shown upfront with total clarity so that customers have no unpleasant surprises and have the option to opt out, especially those on low income.
