  I recently toured David Lloyd and was very impressed by the experience. The facilities were modern, well-maintained, and of a high standard. The atmosphere was welcoming and energetic, and the staff were friendly and professional. In particular, Sukhraj was extremely helpful, taking the time to answer questions and provide a thorough tour of the club. I would highly recommend David Lloyd to anyone looking for excellent fitness and leisure facilities.

  Very disappointed with my experience at David Lloyd. I went for a shower and left my trainers unattended in the changing/locker room area for around 5 minutes. When I came back, they had been stolen. For a premium gym with high membership fees, I expected a much safer and better-managed environment. It is very concerning that members’ belongings can disappear so quickly inside the club. I understand personal belongings are ultimately our own responsibility, but theft taking place inside the changing room raises serious questions about security, supervision, and how incidents like this are handled. What was particularly disappointing was the response from staff. They acted as though this was a common occurrence and something that happens all the time, which did little to reassure me or give me confidence that the issue was being taken seriously. This has left a very bad impression, and I would urge other members to be extremely careful with their belongings.

  Lloyds was excellent. I had a really smooth experience signing. He walked me through the whole gym, explained all the equipment clearly, and answered every question without rushing. You can tell he knows the place inside out and genuinely wants people to feel comfortable before joining. He made the whole process easy, informative, and actually enjoyable. If you’re thinking about joining, I definitely recommend speaking with him — he’ll make sure you know exactly what you’re getting and feel confident from day one.

  My partner and I joined the gym around a month ago and haven’t looked back since. Initially we were slightly apprehensive given some of the negative feedback we had seen online but honestly I couldn’t fault this gym I’ve never struggled to get on a class and everything is pretty well maintained. Stefan was great, he has a ‘no bullshit’ approach to his sales which we appreciated and honestly made the process super smooth. He clearly knows his stuff so fair play.

  We have recently joined David Lloyd following a tour with Stefan. He was really friendly, easy to chat to, and answered everything we wanted to know. We never felt like we were being pressured into anything and left with a really positive impression following Stefan's helpful, informative tour. The facilities are great. We are a family of four with two young children and the creche and kids classes are amazing and allow us to have time to do classes and use the gym. We have been members around two weeks now and have utilised David Lloyd most days and really recommend it. Stefan has been particularly great and has checked in with us regularly since joining and has overall been so great and helpful. We highly recommend David Lloyds Northwood, especially to families.
