- ZAZakkiyah AyubFeb 27, 20261.0Most rude, short Optician I’ve ever met! I took my child in yesterday for an eye test for which we’d arrived 10/15 minutes early for. Firstly the non-sensical front staff accommodated a walk-in client right at our appointment time who was looking to be squeezed in for a ‘5 minute’ appointment, which actually overran by 15minutes into our time! Aside from my child getting restless as we were waiting for coming up to half an hour, it impacted on getting home for my other child arriving home and being locked out as I wouldn’t have been home in time. I mentioned this to the staff member who then went to notify the rude optician. When he finally called us in there was no apology from the optician for making us wait and fitting someone else into our appointment time! It rather felt like he was irritated by me requesting the staff member to check with him when he’ll be done, as he rushed through the test and was short with me when I asked him questions. The worst being when he turn around to reprimand me for having the sound on on my phone! Excuse me - I had to have the sound on as due to your poor appointment management I had to make sure I was receiving the messages from my child who was on her way home and I was not going to be home when she arrived because of the delay to our appointment! My daughter’s lense prescription it turned out needs changing but I will not be returning here for it or for any other future optical needs! The inconvenience of going somewhere further/out of the way where they’ll treat you and your time with kindness and respect outweighs the convenience of having your eye test at your local superstore where you’re met with rudeness and poor customer service!
