- DDDariaJul 26, 20261.0Worst place on planet Earth. My husband bought a pair of glasses here for £300. They were ready in about five days. When we came to collect them, we immediately noticed that one of the lenses was barely secured in the frame. Only about a millimetre of the lens was actually sitting inside the frame. My husband asked them to fix it. A woman took the glasses away for about ten minutes, brought them back, and they were in exactly the same condition. Nothing had changed. My husband said this was unacceptable. They promised to make a completely new pair and told us we could use the current pair in the meantime and return it once the replacement was ready. That same day, the lens fell out. My husband had to put it back in himself. Five days later, the temple arm broke and had to be glued back together.Again, these glasses cost £300. A week later we returned to collect the replacement pair. Everything looked fine at first, so we handed back the original pair and left with the new one. Guess what happened next.The lens fell out again. How can a place call itself an optician when it can’t even assemble a pair of glasses properly? Two out of two pairs had lenses that wouldn’t stay in the frame. How is that even possible? This is, without question, the most incompetent optical shop I have ever seen. Avoid this place at all costs.
