  I am surprised about the level of professionalism and customer service by Vision Express. When bringing in a pair of specs for new lenses I was told it would take 5-7 working days. I paid in full upfront as requested. I was sent an email a week later asking if I was enjoying my new glasses so I went to pick them up. They couldn’t find my glasses. They didn’t know what had happened to them. It is now a month ago since they were ordered and as I have now received an email saying’thank you for your order’ I have again tried to get information about my missing frames and lenses I paid for.. I believe the company’s management is well incompetent and I will not recommend leaving an upfront payment for any order there. I have yet to wait for reply for the missing specs or try to get my money back. This is a very long process.

  Excellent eye test with Olivia today. She was so professional, thorough and friendly - really put me at ease and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend!

  I went today without an appointment for an eye test and I checked online on their website and there was slots avaliable. Big guy with glasses opens the door and tells me that they are fully booked for the day, suggest me to go down to boots and check in there. Maybe someone should teach him a bit more of customer service and maybe suggest coming tomorrow or make sure that I get an appointment next time. What a joke and what a way of losing money

  One of the worst experiences I've had in an Opticians. I went in with the intention to buy one or two new pairs of glasses. The saleswoman started off by saying that there was 40% off if I bought a second pair. When I was shown the price, I said that it looked like only 20% was taken off. She said that the 40% was a combination of 20% off one paid, and 20% off the other... After sitting down to purchase the glasses I was shown a screen of a variety of lens. I asked if lenses were included in the glasses and was told that I had to purchase these separately. I was then told that there were only one type of lens that wouldn't cause eye strain and neck pain and these were £210 per pair. I kept asking what the total price was and kept getting different answers. When I tried to write down what the price was made up of, she wasn't able to get the numbers to add up but it looked to be £600+ for two pairs of standard glasses that wouldn't hurt my eyes. I walked out of the store without buying any glasses, I just couldn't believe that I would have to pay £600 for glasses that don't cause pain. I went to the Vision Express website and found the pair I was trying to buy and they were £85 included lens. Even when I upgraded to the best lenses and added blue light filter, the total still only came to £155. This felt like I was being scammed, it was not nice to have an Optician tell me that I had to buy something at an extortionate price or I would be in pain.
