  I joined this gym because of the range of classes on offer, but unfortunately the timetable has changed dramatically since I signed up. Most of the classes have been removed, and the only classes I could be doing, even though not what I really would like, is consistently fully booked at the times I can attend. As a result, the gym no longer provides the experience that influenced my decision to join in the first place. It's particularly frustrating as I'm tied into a 12‑month contract despite the service changing significantly. The staff have always been pleasant, but the current class offering is very limited compared to what was originally available. I would recommend prospective members look carefully at the current timetable rather than assuming it will remain the same.

  Love the gym! It's quite expensive but given the upcoming upgrades I feel the price will be justified. One issue I have all the time in the gym is people leaving plates on the equipment and not removing them after they are done. I don't feel really anything being done to encourage better gym etiquette? I'm paying over £100 a month and constantly unloading other people's plates and also being unsure if equipment is still in use because they are too lazy to do it. It's so frustrating. Would be great if something can be done!

  The equipment is quite old and hasn't been updated since I was a member over six years ago. I rejoined the gym a couple of months ago, and it still hasn't been refurbished. Tuesday evening, I accidentally left my Adidas glass water bottle behind. As soon as I noticed, I tried calling reception, but it was impossible to speak to anyone. I called the following day, but no one from customer service answered, so I had to open an email ticket (Ref. 563135). When I went back to the gym the next day, the bottle wasn't in lost property. I've had this bottle for over six years. I've forgotten it at other gyms before, and it has always been returned to me. The fact that it disappeared here makes me question the type of members this gym attracts; people pay £80–£100 a month and still steal other members' belongings. On top of that, it's impossible to reach staff by phone. Overall, this gym is not worth the price. Be careful with your belongings....

  Do not join this gym if you are LGBTQIA+. Following some pretty horrific homophobic behaviour resulting in an incident where I was threatened & attempts were made to oust me from a communal area by a group of Muslim women, I’ve had no choice but to leave mid-contact and join another gym. I made a complaint to management who to their credit said they would try and identify the group involved, but due to the threat of violence and potential for retaliation I decided against pursuing it further (they didn’t offer to cancel my contract so currently paying for 2 gym memberships). So just warning to any gay/lesbian/trans people in the local area to avoid this place in the interests of your own safety. Fitness First is just up the road and is a much more inclusive and welcoming place.

  No stair master; need to sort out the women's steam room; there's no steam. It's always breaking down. Wandsworth is much better
