  Visited Virgin Active Moorgate on a guest pass and came away with mixed impressions. The club is visually appealing and has a modern, aesthetic feel from the moment you walk in. The hydrotherapy pool was a nice feature and a good place to relax after a workout. That said, there were a few areas that felt underwhelming for a gym in such a premium location. A number of the lockers weren't working, which was frustrating. The shower gel provided was nice, but there were no additional amenities available, making the changing room experience feel fairly basic. Overall, it's a pleasant club with good facilities, but I expected a little more in terms of attention to detail and member amenities given the location and positioning of the brand.

  So I’ve rejoined from a different branch after a year out and the staff I dealt with were just brilliant! Josh,Armando and Cem were just so helpful and supportive Great gym as well highly recommend Keep up great work lads❤️🫡100

  Been going downhill for over the last year, especially last few months. - members of staff (sales and PTs) dont even put their own weights back - Lockers constantly broken - broken equipment all over and takes weeks to fix No one has done anything about the plethora of members now going around with tripods and recording people without their consent and behaving all entitled and rude if you ask them to not record with others in back. Whats management sitting and doing? Pointless refurbishment, no one got the memo about adding more of something else but instead we got fixed benches no one uses anymore. Treadmills always covered in sweat and barely cleaned. Filthy toilets, shaven hairs in the sink. This gym is worse than a puregym that's not even staffed half the time.

  Generally a good gym, despite the silly refurb, but I have had problems with customer service of late. I was renting a locker at £16 a month. Unfortunately, I lost my key, expected to just pay a fee for a replacement. Firstly- couldn't get anyone to help via the phone. No-one responded to my emails. I went to the club, all they could offer (after struggling to understand my perfectly clear explanation) was to break into the locker with a crowbar. They could not offer me either a new locker nor a replacement key, and couldn't even help me find a carrier bag for my stuff as I then had to empty my locker (I had to get a bin bag from the cleaner). Overall, they were offhand and uninterested. Yes, I lost my key, can't believe there's no spares or master keys.
