These guys make James May look like Speed Racer. Slowest service I've ever seen from a pharmacy. Plus they don't do notifications when your prescription is ready. Choose a different pharmacy.

I am absolutely appalled by the way my 65 year old mother was spoken to and treated by a member of staff at this pharmacy on two separate occasions.
My mother had been using this pharmacy for over 35 years and, until these incidents, had always been extremely happy with the service. It is therefore particularly upsetting that, after more than three decades of loyalty, she has now been made to feel so uncomfortable and disrespected that she no longer wants to use the pharmacy.
On one occasion, she explained that she wanted to change to a different brand of medication because the tablets she had been given had a taste which she described as being like petrol. Instead of listening to her concern or responding professionally, the member of staff sarcastically asked her whether she had ever actually tasted petrol and therefore knew what petrol tasted like.
There was absolutely no need for this kind of response. She was raising a genuine concern about medication that she has to take, and she deserved to be listened to and treated with courtesy and respect. Instead, she felt mocked, belittled and spoken down to. She left the pharmacy extremely upset with not the prescribed medication.
Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. On another occasion, she again felt that the same individual was rude and patronising towards her on the phone. The way she was spoken to and treated left her feeling that she was being treated differently because of her background, and she felt the treatment was racist and discriminatory. Whether that was the intention or not, this is how the interaction made her feel, and that is deeply upsetting and unacceptable.
To make matters worse, after her doctor subsequently re-ordered the medication, the prescription/medication appeared to have disappeared from the pharmacy system, creating even more frustration and inconvenience.
After 35+ years of loyalty, it is incredibly disappointing that the behaviour of one member of staff has completely changed our view of this pharmacy.
Customers should never be made to feel embarrassed, belittled, discriminated against or uncomfortable when simply asking questions about their medication particularly an older customer who is seeking help.

To the man who was extremely rude and patronising towards my mother on two separate occasions: I am absolutely appalled by the way you chose to speak to and treat a 65-year-old woman.
My mother has been using this pharmacy for over 35 years and has always been extremely happy with the service she has received. It is therefore incredibly upsetting and disappointing that, after all these years, she has now been made to feel so uncomfortable and disrespected that she no longer wishes to use the pharmacy.
On one occasion, she simply explained that she wanted to change to a different brand of medication because the tablets she had been given tasted like petrol. Rather than listening to her concern and responding professionally, you sarcastically asked her whether she had ever actually tasted petrol and therefore knew what petrol tasted like.
This was completely unnecessary, patronising and belittling. She was raising a genuine concern about medication she has to take, and there was absolutely no reason to speak to her in such a dismissive and condescending manner. She came away from the pharmacy extremely upset by the way she had been treated.
Her doctor subsequently re-ordered the medication, only for the prescription/medication to then seemingly disappear from the pharmacy system, adding further frustration to an already upsetting experience.
After more than 35 years of loyalty to this pharmacy, it is deeply disappointing that the behaviour of one individual has resulted in us feeling that the only option is to go elsewhere. Nobody, particularly an elderly customer simply asking for help with their medication, should be made to feel spoken down to, mocked or disrespected in this way.
I am very disappointed with the service at the Tesco Leytonstone Pharmacy. My prescription was sent to the pharmacy on Wednesday, but when I came to collect it on Saturday, it still wasn't ready.
When I asked about it, I was told it would take 15 minutes. In reality, I waited 45 minutes, and my medication still wasn't ready. Having to wait that long, especially with two young children, was extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
This was a very poor experience, and unfortunately I have to give a low rating. I hope the pharmacy improves its prescription service and communication with customers.
