This gym takes up half the space with these egym machines no one uses, its so crowded after work practically unusable. Right now the ac is not working on the hottest day, theres also problems almost every visit either with the lifts or bathrooms, often both. One day I couldnt even wash my hands 😂. Reminder this is a luxury gym Looking forward to my contract to expire, for the money you pay its on par with a pure gym

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. I was verbally told by gym members that if any circumstances change that I would be allowed to cancel my membership, very untrue. I have since lost my visa, and when communicatin with the gym about this , they let me know that its been passed to a debt agency to collect the rest of my membership, and guess what , its 706£... they entice you to join the gym on false statements and then actl like family until these circumstances actually happen to you. Do they expect me to keep paying for my gym membership , when i could no longer enter the country. Every day I receive a call from the debt agency , to pay for the rest of my years membership. Do NOT SIGN THAT AGREEMENT

I have been doing personal training with Marta at David Lloyd for about 3 months now and she’s completely transformed and improved my approach to strength training. I always enjoy our sessions as I learn a lot about strength training and nutrition, how to properly use the different machines, and new exercises that I can incorporate into my routine. Marta is a super nice person and I highly recommend everyone who wants to try personal training to work with her!

DL Kensington is a fantastic club with a great balance of fitness and community. The Blaze classes are a real highlight, providing a great workout every time. A special mention to Katja, whose coaching, motivation, and positive energy make every class enjoyable. The club lounge and food offering are also excellent, making it easy to relax, work, or grab a healthy meal after training. What really sets this club apart, though, is the social side. The events and activities create a welcoming atmosphere and make it easy to meet other members and build friendships beyond the gym. Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a place to work out.

I’ve been a member at David Lloyd Kensington for a while now and it’s been a broadly positive experience. The class offering is good and the instructors are strong across the board — my personal favourites are Elena, Guy and Katja. I’ve been doing personal training with Katja, which has been particularly worthwhile. She adapts well to individual needs and communicates clearly when it comes to setting goals and limits that feel realistic and appropriate for your abilities and circumstances. I’ve noticed genuine progress over time. One thing I didn’t expect was how useful the eGym equipment would be. It helped me get comfortable with strength training, which I’d always found a bit intimidating, and that confidence is what eventually led me to try personal training. I’ve also really valued the women’s health sessions that Katja has run. They’ve combined genuinely useful information with a welcoming, safe space to connect with other members — something I hadn’t anticipated finding at a gym. More broadly, the social events (things like Blaze and Bubbles and similar) add a sense of community that I appreciate. On the flip side, maintenance is an area that could do with more attention. Over the past months there have been ongoing issues — the jacuzzi out of action or missing fittings for extended periods, lifts not working, and the yoga studio dealing with a persistent leak that has now resulted in part of the room being closed off and reduced capacity. For a gym at this level, that’s noticeable.
