  I just spoke to Yasmin enquiring about a membership and her sarcasm and poor customer service was atrocious. Really wasn’t expecting low level customer service but hey !

  I was a member a while ago. I was verbally attacked by a white male because I simply wouldn't share the machine with him as I was short on time. He made alot of false accusations and started shouting at me. I had witnesses. I went to report the incident at reception and it took over an hour to be seen. The man was also at reception and overheard me explaining the incident where he then started becoming aggressive again, i proceeded to take my phone out and record to protect myself as a black woman...from nowhere a white female manager told me that if I record I will lose my membership...even though I was the victim and I was the one being shouted at. I had two witnesses who came forward who also gave a statement. I reported the incident, they didnt care. I had a follow up meeting of which again, management did not apologise nor offer any type of discount as an apology. The man who became aggressive towards me stayed whilst I left because I felt scared he was going to take it further if I went back. I asked for the cctv recording and magically they said they had none. The team there ate very racist and sexist, I still have all the recordings, emails and videos I took. They took weeks to respond to me only to give the excuse that they had a leak problem...till this day im shocked at how I was treated and justice was never served. Their treatment of black women at that club in particular id appalling and should really be investigated

  Recently joined the club and it has exceeded our expectations. Alex Canas from the team was very supportive and helpful as we became members, and showed us all the aspects of the club that we could build an active lifestyle around.

  I cancelled the membership in 2023 Oct following a standard notice period per club policy. I received an email confirmation stating that the cancellation was successful and the last billing date was also clarified. However, shockingly, we just found out that as of today we have been charged by David Lloyd for 3 years, a total about £6,000. I immediately sent an email with proves to urge the club looking into this serious mistake and stop deducting fees from my account (case ref 4291254). When I called the membership service team asking for an update, they repeatedly told me that they are investigating and will call me the next day, but no one called. The membership team also claimed that it will take time to locate the cancellation email sent 3 years ago while the staff at Fulham branch found the email in a few seconds. Unfortunately, the staff at the branch has no access to handle the billing and refund matter, only the membership team can. And clearly the membership team could not care less, not apologetic, not helpful, not returning any calls. I would think twice about joining such a club because of the lack of basic ethics and member support when you need it. You clearly do not want to join a gym that activates a cancelled membership unilaterally and takes the money away behind your back unapologetically.
