  For the price of the glasses, my post-sale experience has been extremely disappointing. I ordered 2 pairs of prescription glasses and, 17 days later, today i've been informed that the lab had lost one of the frames. This only came to light after I started chasing for an update, with no proactive communication or information about the estimated delivery time provided during those 17 days. Getting hold of someone over the phone at this store was incredibly difficult, and I had to call numerous times for someone to answer and provide the basic information about my order. On two separate occasions, I was promised a call back from someone who could provide an update, and on both occasions, nobody called back. The lack of communication, accountability and basic customer care is unacceptable, particularly given the premium price of the glasses. Keeping customers informed and following through on promises should be the bare minimum. I expected much better from David Clulow Opticians and would think twice before purchasing from them again.

  I’m visiting London from Taiwan, and unfortunately, I had an accident and walked straight into an incredibly clean glass door. The impact badly bent and distorted my glasses frame. I tried several optical shops, but they either told me they couldn’t repair it or that they only serviced frames from their own brands. I was starting to think I would have to spend the rest of my trip with my glasses badly damaged. Then I found David’s, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. The technician was so kind and patient. He told me he would do his very best to see if he could adjust the frame, although he couldn’t promise that it would be fully restored. He carefully worked on it, made adjustments twice, and somehow managed to bring the frame completely back to its original shape. I was absolutely amazed. And the most touching part? He didn’t charge me a single penny. As a visitor from Taiwan, I was genuinely moved by this unexpected kindness. When you’re traveling in another country and something goes wrong, having a stranger take the time to help you with such patience and generosity means more than words can say. This experience reminded me that sometimes the most memorable part of a journey isn’t the famous sights, but the kindness of the people you meet along the way. Thank you, David’s, for your incredible help and generosity. I will remember this kindness for a very long time. ❤️ I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful optical shop!

  Excellent service by Sam. I was looking for a specific screw for my sunglasses as it fell off, and Sam was incredibly helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend.

  Bought replacement polarised lens from Ray-Ban, Juli fitted them on my frame in a couple of minutes. In general the staff has been super helpful! Can definitely recommend!
