  Amazing experience in this branch from buying to collecting my glasses , staff were amazing from sales to collection , and communication regarding collection was spot on Thank you for such great service 😃

  My glasses broke into two pieces suddenly when I was watching TV last night. It was only used less than a year. 1. In my opinion, the optician did not fit it properly on my face. The glasses therefore were having a fatigue which eventually generated a crack. 2. Although it is a national chain, they won’t take this as their quality issue, no customer service at all to cover this. 3. They told me that the costs to repair this frame only, which was actually higher than to do a new test, new lens and new frame - yes they sold as a bundle discount and would repair it at full price… Based on my experience in this shop, I will never use Vision Express again and will recommend anyone to avoid this. I should have stayed with Specsaver which has been much cheaper and helpful.

  I have mixed views on this branch of Vision Express. I bought two pairs of prescription glasses from this branch almost a year ago and, generally, I received good and helpful service from the team at the time. I have no complaints about the service I received when purchasing the glasses. However, one of the arms on one pair has become loose quite easily and has needed tightening several times since I bought them, I would estimate four or five times in less than a year. I have been back to this branch and other Vision Express branches on several occasions to have it tightened, and I have been perfectly happy to do so. I don't consider this to be an unreasonable inconvenience in itself. What I found particularly disappointing was my experience when I visited this branch at the weekend. I was told by the sales assistant that they could not tighten the arm at weekends, and that I should either try another optician, such as David Clulow, or return during the week. I appreciate that the shop is busier at weekends. However, tightening the arm takes less than five minutes, and I am struggling to understand how I am supposed to access this basic aftercare when I work during the week and cannot get to the branch before it closes at 17:30. Being told to go to another optician, where I have never bought my glasses, is particularly frustrating when I have spent a significant amount of money buying two pairs from Vision Express. I would have expected a basic adjustment such as this to be available to an existing customer, particularly given that the glasses have repeatedly required the same adjustment. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect some level of aftercare at the weekend, especially when the alternative offered is effectively to take my business elsewhere. This experience has left me very disappointed with the customer service at this branch and, if this is how aftercare is going to be handled, it will make me seriously reconsider buying my next pair of glasses from Vision Express.

  Love going there the girls are so helpful and all very professional and so kind and the lady who do eye test doesn’t mind answering all my questions wouldn’t go elsewhere.
