  My annual eye test was carried out by Zainab my Optometrist. I would highly recommend her because she is caring, understanding and takes time to listen and give advice with recommendations as and when needed. I’m very happy with the service received. 😊

  Friendly helpful staff especially the optometrist who explained all the tests carried out, including her conclusions as to the next course of action which was to contact my GP to obtain a refferal for a cataract operation.

  Went a total of six times, however still couldn’t get my contact lenses. I kept it professional every time, however I feel quite disrespected. I want to thank the lady who did my eye test, was really respectful and nice, did everything properly and guided me on contact lenses and everything else. Second time I went, the lady who served me got out the contact lenses and said after getting the contact lenses out that we dont have anyone for it. If there is no one for it, then why was an appointment booked for that time? Third time I went had an appointment booked, someone told me to sit down on the chair and said they will serve me after. Had me waiting 45 mins after my scheduled appointment time and I was quiet and respectful waiting patiently. Then the person said really sorry, go to the individual over there. The staff the person sent me to was rude and said, sorry you’re late to me 2-3x, even though she saw me waiting quiet and patiently for over 45 mins. So she made me reschedule. When I went the fourth time, I had a fit check, the optometrist was really nice, she served me promptly. I failed the check but, as I ran out of my prescription contacts, the other lady said she’ll order new ones for me. When I went the next time, I passed but I used different prescription ones as the ordered ones hadn’t come in on the test date. I was told I have to come back in one more time to pick it up. I waited one week, no phone call back, and had to phone back. Lady left voicemail after my phone speaker was messing up saying it says on the system I failed and I have an appointment booked in a couple of days for the refit, however I already passed. I don’t know why it wasn’t updated in the system. Went last week, where I was told again by staff that the wrong prefit lenses was ordered and said they had to order again for the new one. So I had to go home again. I waited over 3-4 weeks and I only went to get contact lenses for my exam which I really needed for my exam but now couldn’t get it on time due to staff not being organised. I do thank the relevant staff that helped me, including the optometrist who was really nice, very professional and did the tests properly, but overall a poor experience. I never argued and maintained respect with staff at all times even though i felt quite disrespected.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been going to Vision Express Ilford for quite a while now, and I’ve always had a great experience. The team are friendly, welcoming, and professional every time I visit. I would like specially thanks to Dave, who has looked after me on several occasions. He is always patient, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and never makes you feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and wants to make sure they’re getting the right advice rather than trying to sell something. These days it’s not easy to find customer service that’s this genuine and consistent, which is why I felt it was worth leaving a review. Thank you, Dave and everyone at Vision Express, for always making my visits such a positive experience...
