  The optician was extremely thorough with both my test and my two children. She explained everything clearly it was my youngest son’s first ever appointment and she put him at ease straight away and he enjoyed having his eyes tested. Would highly recommend this Optician in particular she was exceptional and highly knowledgeable.

  I can't fault the service I have had here after a really bad experience at a independent opticians I was quite apprehensive, but all the staff were so lovely and kind and reassured me through the whole process. The young lady who did my eye test was very thorough and put me at ease and explained everything every step of the way. I chose my frames the girls were so helpful went for middle of the road frames with reactor lights. Collected my glass today and Scot was absolutely brilliant again reassured me made sure I was happy with my glasses and nothing was to much trouble I would 100% recommend them to anyone and they have restored my faith in going to the opticians again I I'm not local I was recommended by a friend and trust me it was worth the time and will continue to use them. 😎

  Love this place. The staff are fantastic, not 1 of them, all of them. Go out of their way to help you, nothing is too much trouble. Tried Specsavers a few years ago and felt like I was in a factory, at Vision Express it genuinely is different and not sure if it is just this branch but wow, so friendly and professional. Signed up to the care plan a few years ago and could not be happier. Got a free extensive eye test today, new Ralph Lauren frames and new lenses put in my current specs and my repayment only went up 50p. Amazing. Couldn't be happier.

  I had glasses done here in 2018-2022 and the service was professional. Long-term customer here. However my last encounter was awful. I had appointment on Friday 14/08/2026 at 15:20pm the shop called me around 11:30am and asked to move to 16:50pm. To which I agreed. Then, they called again at 16:20pm (30 minutes before the re-scheduled was due!! ) and asked to move another hour back to 17:50pm. I accept re-scheduling once, (unexpected things can happen) but calling again 30 minutes before the second appointment is due is unacceptable, we all have a tight schedule...I obviously cancelled and took my custom somewhere else...

  went to this store to enquire about my frames and if they could be fixed, first time i went in one of the ladies told me to wait until they are back in stock online but did not help me browse any similar glasses as i was in pieces about not being able to see for so long. i went in again as i was buying a replacement pair (completely different frames) asked again, was told yes they can and i wanted to confirm before i ordered in parts costing about £100 and i go in today to which they took another look and told me to come back in an hour, after that hour i returned and they told me they are beyond repair. i could have been told this the first time i went in and before i went off for an hour the second time. my time was wasted, so was my money. my glasses were returned to me ridiculously more bent than they were to begin with, to which was UNWEARABLE. bought my prescription from here which cost a lot and they did not offer me a temporary fix or anything i had to go elsewhere for adjusting, on two occasions. have constant problems here and i wont be returning anymore.
