Condescending and rude guy with long (greyish) hair and glasses, was told taking anything after an allergic reaction was like ‘shutting the barn doors after the horse had already left’ and that was all that was offered. Everything they said was extremely patronising and unhelpful, I’m unsure how they have a customer facing role. I went to another pharmacy in town which was a much more positive experience and helped the allergic reaction.
A colleague went to collect a prescription a couple weeks later for an intimate issue and she was made to feel stupid and small by the same person as they did not yet have the prescription but didn’t offer any advice or information on when it could be in, just condescending and sarcastic remarks. We went back, got the prescription information and went to boots pharmacy Carlton centre instead where they were kind and helpful.
I’m unsure if it’s because we are young women (looking at some of these reviews I may be wrong), as they were not like this with the men ahead of us in the queue. I would not recommend this pharmacy due to this person and would say go to Boots instead, where you can get prescriptions and advice without being made uncomfortable.

This pharmacy is not good. They are very slow and never have your prescription ready. Today was the culmination of incompetence. Went to fetch a prescription that had been put through on Monday, also had recived the text saying it was ready for collection. The pharmacy technician seemed uninterested and asked "what can you tell me about your prescription". After we decoded this message, he went off to find the prescription. He came back 2mins later with the box of medication in hand along with the repeat slip and sticker, he then said "it will be 20 minutes". We were confused, he had the box in his hand, was this 20mins to find a paper bag? We went away and finished out shopping, returning to the counter around 25mins later. The medication still had not been placed in a bag and had been put on the back shelf with the repeat. The lady who served us this time did look annoyed that he colleague had not bagged the prescription.
I believe this is incompetence at its finest, well done Tesco Pharmacy.
Mark who works behind the counter is an absolute credit to Tesco. He is always genuinely interested in helping people, has excellent knowledge and always leaves you feeling as though you have been listened to. Mark please keep up being great guy.
After using this place for several months I genuinely get anxiety using this pharmacy as you don’t know what service your going to get, the Older short gentleman (gentleman said loosely) with glasses is usually extremely rude seems to struggle with social interaction and has on occasion made jokes about the medication I am on, other bloke with long hair is condescending and makes you feel 5 years old when you haven’t given him a month to get your prescription ready, only “normal” service I’ve received was from a lady there but judging by other reviews perhaps I caught her on a good day. I understand pharmacies are generally busy places where you can expect to wait some time to receive your medication, however this place seems to be on another level of shambles with a splash of very poor customer service.
Had to go into fetch my prescription barely being able to walk. Not only was I served promptly and offered a seat whilst I waited but the chap on the counter even fetched me some eggs as he could see I was struggling. Didn’t catch his name but seriously this world needs more people like you. Give this man a raise.
