I had a bit of an emergency today due to an accident at work and as a long term contact lens wearer I had got an eye infection with no glasses to fall back on. The staff at this store went well above and beyond the service one would normally expect, at five minutes before closing they made me some new glasses, perfect fit, at a very reasonable price, I genuinely could not believe the quality of service, what a relief to get those lenses out and glasses so that I could see, the lab manager and the shop principal did everything to help and what's more, they were probably the nicest, kindest staff of any shop I've ever been in. Really service that you simply don't get these days at any time, never mind five minutes before the shop closes. Thank you all so much, you probably saved me from long term damage to my eyes.

Emily who did my eye test definitely doesn’t deserve 1 star she deserves 5… However the rest of the experience what an AWFUL experience. I ordered one pair of glasses and one pair of sunglasses. I got told the glasses would be around 10 days until ready AT THE LATEST… so we are now at that point so I have been in and called a couple of times as I want them as soon as they arrive without waiting for my sunglasses as they will take a lot longer. So I originally got told twice that it would be no later than the 14.09 that they would be ready and then today when I contacted them it was changed to they won’t be ready until the very earliest of the 19.09. I am currently undergoing some investigations to my eyes and they are just pro longing.
