She showed me round all facilities and explained how everything works. She sat me down and explained the membership. She showed interest in me all of the time she was with me and answered all questions. I have no hesitation in joining after a wonderful introduction.
- DOdilman osmanAug 26, 20262.0I spent two weeks at David Lloyd Meridian and overall, it was okay. The gym is clean and well maintained, but it’s also very crowded and busy, so it can be difficult to get on the equipment you want. The lighting could definitely be improved, as it makes the gym feel a bit dull. I also found the overall atmosphere quite flat and lacking energy. And i was surprised that they don’t have really simple accessories for some exercises like lifting belt, lifting wrist straps, even they don’t have barbell pads 😠 I also noticed there were a lot of children and teenagers around, and at certain times the atmosphere felt more like a general public park than a proper gym. I understand that it’s a family-friendly facility, but for someone who wants a focused and serious training environment, this can be a little distracting. For the price, I expected a little more, especially in terms of the atmosphere and experience. Overall, it’s a decent gym, but there’s nothing special that makes it different from the other gyms, it’s just same as a normal leisure centre.
