My husband and I visited for new glasses in August and were disappointed in the lack of professionalism in all staff. There was a distinct lack of information provided about the eye test not shown any sight of the rear eye test we paid for and I had to ask about the cataracts I had been informed were forming 4 years previously by another optician and was advised they were ok? The glasses came back after one week and mine appeared alright but the first time I drove at night I realised my vision was better without the glasses and I have needed glasses for 31 years. I felt unsafe driving. My husbands were not right and were blurred, he had to have a further test the next day and was advised the first prescription was incorrect one member of staff saying it was too strong and another too weak so we had to clarify which was the right information. They were sent off and a message came back after a week saying there was a delay in their return. We visited the store and spoke to Sehar the assistant manager on September 1st. She checked my glasses and advised the member of staff who measured my glasses had not measured them correctly. She tried to offer a gesture of good will payment after apologising several time though no amount was given and asked me to let them send my glasses away to get it right. My husband and I stated that we had no confidence in their staff and ability to correct their mistakes and requested a full refund. This was provided. We have since visited another optician and I have been advised that the cataract in my right eye has progressed and I need to be checked in one year instead of the usual two as it may be reaching referral for removal by then so not ok! The cost of our new glasses are nearly £200 less than Vision Express and that was supposed to have 30% Blue Light Discount so no we will not be recommending Vision Express to our family and friends.

Exceptional customer service, specially by Ahmed Abdelkarim who was very thorough with the eye test and throughout ordering the glasses.
