- ALA LJul 12, 20263.0I went here for the first time because I panicked with my daughter's eyesight. I don't wear glasses myself, never been to an opticians but this was booked last minute. I appreciate that I was able to book online and so last minute but I got a call from some girl who said she needed to check if they'd take my daughter due to her young age and would call me back in 10 to 15 mins. 20 mins later still no call and I didn't want to leave the house only to be turned away so I called back. Was told yes they'll take her for whatever they could do for my daughter. I told the man on the phone I would be a little late to the appointment due to the above. He said the appointment still holds 10 mins after the booked time. I got there 7 mins after and the optometrist immediately just said to me I was late... In an unfriendly tone. I explained to her my situation and she took us in which was nice of her and she tried all she could but I felt the communication for all this could have been better... It was as if it was my fault I was deliberately late for my appointment when I was waiting for information from them. How fast could they have expected me to be down there given I was still at home at the time??

And now i have been waiting for 10 mins before anyone will become free to give me my new glasses... Everyone is super nice and all, but the shop needs at least 2 more staff members. You're losing lots of business due to people just giving up as it takes too much time to be served...
