Ive been a customer for a few years .I had a bit of a problem last year but managed to sort it . I called this week to price a replacement lenses for my scratched glasses, was given a price and agreed to call in Saturday, when I did I was met with a question who was the person that gave you the information, wasn't aware I needed to ask . Then I was told that the price was not right . And then told it would be cheaper to buy new glasses. I really feel that it was a way of making more money from the sale . Just not impressed at all . I used to use Tesco and was never disappointed. Time to go back . I Richardson.( I dont do any social media sites . Only WhatsApp.. or telephone. ) THANKS

After my eye test, contact lenses were recommended. I had to come back to a 2nd appointment, in which the optician inserted and re-assessed my vision, my vision was noted to be better without this prescription - but I was told to continue. I then saw a chap, who observed me inserting and removing myself. Personally, I'd have liked to have had the opportunity for this to be done in private, I was anxious, struggling and stressed, and in full view of everyone else in the store coming back/forward beside me. I told him I felt my vision was blurred with the lenses insitu and were making me feel a little queasy, he just told me I would adjust to them. I was told to 'trial them' for a week and given a follow up appointment 7 days later. I was only given 4x lenses. So wasn't much of a trial. And was told I have to reserve one for the follow up appointment. So I had 3x days to trial them. The first day, being a complete novice, I accidentally dropped one on the floor and couldn't find it. So I had now only 2x. Not much of a trial. We visited the store for me, to ask for another couple to give the trial a fair trial, but this was refused. WHAT IS THE POINT? I cancelled the follow up appointment. I work 6-days every week. With only one day off per week. I've wasted two Sundays now back to back, not wasting a third for a company who clearly can't be bothered with their customers. Unimpressed I don't want to commit to lenses that I'm unsure of benefit from. And having a 2-day trial is utterly insufficient to observe benefit. I will book an appointment at another optician and start again.
