- CSCraig StephensonOct 8, 20261.0The customer service at David Lloyd Chorley has been nothing short of horrendous. In my experience, nobody takes ownership when something goes wrong. The club and head office pass responsibility back and forth, emails go unanswered, calls aren’t returned and promises of a resolution repeatedly come to nothing. A straightforward cancellation and refund turned into weeks of unnecessary chasing. It took a final email threatening legal action to get a resolution, yet nobody even had the courtesy to reply to or acknowledge that email, let alone apologise. The refund finally came after almost a month of chasing. The level of service is unacceptable and disappointing for a business offering a “premium” service.
