  I went in for my eye test recently, opticians were all very lovely, informative and patient with me. When I was picking my new glasses I was helped by Natasha who was again very patient with me, took the time to show and explain my options and ensured I got a good deal. Would definitely recommend vision express Tunbridge Wells to anyone.

  I found that the frames of my glasses were coming away from the lens on one side. To be honest I'm not at all sure how! Anyway I simply went in to the shop to see what could be done. The girl who served me was welcoming, professional and polite. She quickly found my records and established that my glasses were just inside the 1 yr warranty and proceeded to order new frames. Today I popped in to find that the new frames had literally just arrived - and 5 minutes later I walked out with lovely new frames all attached to my lenses. Completely brilliant service from the start to the finish. Many thanks.

  The Tunbridge Wells Vision Express branch is a franchise and is owned by optician Alan McLaughlin and his wife. I attended there on 15/05/26 for a contract lens check up/renewal and was seen by Alan. There was absolutely no rush and Alan was excellent throughout and very thorough and recommended a new brand of contact lenses which has just come out called “Alcon”. The branch is very clean and all of the staff are very welcoming. What is very impressive is that this branch offers a service whereby they post you your glasses and or contact lenses to your home without customers having to travel back to the store to collect and Alan and his wife do this for free at their own cost, ie they pay for delivery themselves. All of their customer service assistants are excellent , especially Maddie Johnson who I saw at the end when I had to place my order and pay. Overall I highly recommend this branch.

  Not a good experience at all. Bought two pairs of sunglasses , not prescription, only had one pair in so had to order the other. Bought them on Wednesday and told should be in by the Friday, no problem. Two weeks went by, no word/ update. Finally called the shop and still no idea when they will be in for me to collect!! Was going to book some apts for prescription glasses but after this experience????
