  Impossible to get through to by phone, they just don’t pick up. Tried calling various days and different times of day and nothing!

  Welcomed as soon as I entered the shop by all the assistants. Assistant Libby was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, she helped me to find what I was looking for. Lots of Frames to choose from.

  I visited this branch in June 2024, got prescription glasses ordered here, no real issues there. But I wanted to trial some varifocal contact lenses and they said these would be ordered and they would be in touch when they were in stock. They never called me, I called about three times and they said they still couldn’t get a supply of them. Never heard back from them so have gone elsewhere and managed to order these no issue! They lost a sale there.

  David Clueless A deeply frustrating experience, made worse because this was for my son. Lenses weren’t ordered at all, we saw a different optician at each visit, and every one gave completely different advice — so much so that we were told to restart the trial, meaning yet more unnecessary visits. Trying to contact the store is nearly impossible: phones go unanswered, emails are ignored, and there’s no sense of urgency. That’s especially concerning when dealing with a child’s eyesight. And somehow, all of this costs more than other opticians who manage to get the basics right. Overpriced, disorganised, and unreliable. I won’t be back.
