  I have used this pharmacy for many years, mainly to collect digital prescriptions from my GP and for medication recycling. It is open 7 days a week. Before, it was a reasonably reliable and prompt service. However, over the last few years, it is consistently short-staffed with typically long waits (sometimes 20-30 minutes to even reach the front of the queue). Digital prescriptions are rarely ready despite being sent through in advance, so a further 20-30 minute wait is needed whilst they are dispensed and checked. Today (24/05/2026) I attended to collect a digital prescription for asthma medications, approved by my GP 2 days ago. Whilst I waited, the pharmacy technician called up another local Tesco Pharmacy for another customer seeking diabetes medication which they did not have in stock. After that customer was directed to go to the alternative pharmacy, I then spoke with the same woman who also advised me my medication was not in stock either, and hadn't already been pre-dispensed. I asked if she could call the same pharmacy as she had for the previous customer. She looked at me and said, 'No, I've only just called them, and I have other work to do.' I couldn't believe what I was hearing to be honest. She then told me she would 'return' the prescription without explaining what that would mean in terms of fulfilling the prescription elsewhere. I walked away completely flabbergasted. The service here has gone so far downhill I'm not sure it can be repaired. I will not be returning here in the future and would advise to AVOID unless you are seeking long queues, rudeness and a frustrating experience. (I subsequently called up Tesco Pharmacy Sidcup myself who were incredibly helpful and polite over the phone, and pre-dispensed my medication so that when I arrived, I was able to collect immediately. What a breath of fresh air honestly!)

  They are just lazy, long queue, they don’t have orientation with the time. They serve customers very slowly. If you want to waste lots of time, go there, you will wait hours.

  Amazing service booking a pharmacist appointment for my 18 month old’s ear infection. We were seen straight away with no waiting, and they were really gentle, no unnecessary poking or upsetting an already distressed toddler. Antibiotics were prescribed immediately and ready to collect within minutes. So glad I chose a weekend appointment and avoided the busy, germ-filled urgent care.

  Awful customer service and nonsensical policy. Refused to give prescription prescribed by BUPA GP, claiming they are too busy with NHS... I suspect the pharmacy manager simply didn't know how to work the online prescription. Now the result is delayed treatment. It would have taken less than 5 minutes to issue a very common antibiotic. Assuming the policy is the issue then it simply results in going to an NHS GP, taking an appointment from someone who needs it and then then coming back to the pharmacy to add back onto their case load. Brain dead.

  Went to pharmacy as I needed to get a private prescription and was told that they are not doing private prescriptions. What a joke as I went there just to the do the prescription. If they answer the phone I could have rang them and saved my petrol expense.
