  Very good service and seen at my appointment time . All other staff in the store also very helpful.

  Watford store. Confusing information, was prescribed multi-focal glasses and given a leaflet on vari-focals making me think I had vari-focals. When I had issues, I took them back and said I wasn’t aware I was getting vari-vocals and it was insisted to me I had single vision lens. All very confusing. I did change them to single vision as I hated the multi-focals. When I left my glasses with them to have changed , I asked if I should leave the designer case, as was advised to leave it. When picking up the changed glasses a week later, the designer case was missing. I was then told they don’t recommend leaving the case, in contrary to the previous advice. I insisted I have an original designer case, they said they would find one. They grabbed one from the display drawers that matched but when I got home I realised this was my original as the box had my details on it!! Just all very confusing and messy and no respect for my property. I won’t be back.

  I took my elderly mom to the Watford branch. The staff were professional and very caring. They helped me get her set up as her mobility is not great. They went out of their way to help us. I know where I will be going in future and will recommend it to everyone I know.

  Vision Express have given me excellent care and guided me through from my annual checkup to referral to CHEC for a cataract operation. Then reviewed my eye post operation to an up to date prescription for new spectacles. Very pleased indeed.

  I've had several bad experiences trying to get contact lens sorted at this store over the past few months, and it baffles me at how bad they are at communication. I had a contact lens appointment in March where the optician sent me away without saying I needed a follow up, or giving me trial lenses but was later told I never came back for the end of trial. How am I supposed to do that when I wasn't told to come back? I then went back to order some lenses for a pair which I was comfortable with and have used previously for 10+ years, and the person I spoke to in-store said that it wasn't a problem. No one told me that my prescription would be expiring in May and that I needed a new test, or that I needed to return after the March appointment. I'm having to keep explaining my situation to several members of staff and I'm getting fed up of doing so. It feels like I'm being gaslit by them when I try to explain the situation, somehow it's my fault when it's their poor communication that's the problem here. Won't be going back to this store.
