Maria was brilliant at explaining the membership options available to me, as well as how the club works and how I can make best use of the facilities and gym area.

Maria was really helpful at getting me & my daughter set up with a new membership. Although we just turned up at the end of the day, she fitted us in & got us sorted with no problems. She was very friendly & helpful & answered any questions we had about getting started. Gym has a lovely atmosphere & even though we were there when it busy, it didn’t feel overcrowded. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been training with Martin at David Lloyd, for the past four months after experiencing problems with my back, and the difference in my strength and confidence has been incredible. From the start, Martin has thoughtfully planned every session around me, my back and what my body needs. We’ve focused heavily on rehabilitation and building strength safely, and I can genuinely feel myself getting stronger all the time. What has impressed me most is how much I’ve learnt. Martin hasn’t just shown me exercises — he’s taught me so many different ways to approach weight training, how my body moves and why certain exercises work better for me. His knowledge of biomechanics has been invaluable and, for me, this is what really sets him apart from other PTs I’ve worked with. He pays attention to the smallest details in movement and technique and adapts exercises when needed, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I now feel far more confident training with weights and, most importantly, much stronger and more capable than I did four months ago. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Martin, particularly to anyone looking for a PT who really understands movement, rehabilitation and how to build strength safely.
