  I had an extremely disappointing experience here. I went in because I was experiencing blurry vision and pain in my eyes, but my concerns were completely dismissed. I was simply told that everything was fine without my symptoms being taken seriously.Afterwards, I submitted a formal complaint and requested a refund, but my email was ignored. The lack of customer service and communication has been appalling. It feels like they’re only interested in taking your money rather than providing proper care and the staff came across as uninterested and unwilling to help. Based on my experience, I would recommend going to another Vision Express branch or Specsavers instead. I would not recommend this location, I don’t know how they hire the optician there she was there just to get paid.

  I have to use the store as it’s the closest to my home, but I have noticed for a while, that it seems generally the staff of this vision express are not very customer focused. In the past year I have been using them for different appointments and purchases, and there is always something which I have mostly ignored. But now I decided to bring this up to them so they can improve. I’ve asked if the person on the phone is the manager, and she went on “…. Ahhhh the manager …? “ and without saying anything after a few secs she passed the phone to somebody else. Or staff on their own decide to send your contact lenses to your home even though you always collect them from stores! This little things definitely need training for the staff, if the shop wants to carry a well performed service. Staff need to be respectful of customers, and don’t assume anything that they are not sure. A bit of care for customer will go a long way.

  This was my second time getting glasses at Vision Express. My first experience was about 3 years ago when I got my first-ever varifocals (one framed, one rimless). I understood there would be an adaptation period, and when I had typical varifocal issues back then, I paid extra to upgrade from the "Enhanced" to the "Advanced" lenses. They solved the issue, and I was satisfied. Because my prescription changed this year, I went back to get a new framed pair and a new rimless pair, expecting the same service. However, this time, the new rimless pair made me feel dizzy. A friend mentioned it could be a parallax issue, incorrect lens positioning or lens issues, as my vision in the bottom right corner was blurry and heavily distorted. I had to go back and forth to the store multiple times for this issue. At first, they just brushed it off as a normal "adaptation issue." After several trips, they kept trying to adjust the frames and eventually got several specialists to do so. During the last visit, because they had bent and adjusted the nose bridge/center of the frame so many times, the frame actually snapped and broke. I then had to wait to get an unbroken replacement pair. After a long, exhausting hassle, I finally left the store with an unbroken pair of glasses, but my actual vision problem was completely unresolved. To be fair, the general reception staff at the store were very polite and patient. However, the specific employee in charge of my order seemed to have no interest in actually solving my problem. While I appreciate the politeness of the front desk, good manners don't fix my glasses, especially since they weren't the ones managing my case. Looking back, it feels like they were only proactive in helping me 3 years ago because I was paying for a lens upgrade. This time, their main tactic was just making excuses and shirking responsibility. They never seriously checked if there was a manufacturing defect with the lenses or tried to solve the root cause. They clearly just wanted me to accept their glasses and close the deal. After this experience, I don't think I will return to this branch or patronize this chain again.
