Lucy Merriman the Optometrist carried out the retinal scan and booked me in for a dilation test on the 12/08/2026 due to her exceptional clinical experience and diligence Lucy Merriman detected retinal tares and detachment in my left eye and tares in right eye. She printed a letter of referral and rang the eye department at Hereford hospital. The Dr in Hereford Eye Department contacted Birmingham midland eye centre for a 24/48 hour appointment. On Friday 14/08/2026 Dr Spiros carried out Vitrectomy and tare repair left eye and tare repair on my right eye. Saturday 15/08/2026 further laser repair on my right eye. I can't praise Optometrist Lucy Merriman enough for her clinical early diagnosis. I have recommended Vision Express Hereford to family and friends.

Today I collected my new Ray-Ban glasses with the latest Transitions polarised lenses, which automatically dim when I'm in the car. As I have a wide head, finding glasses that fit comfortably isn't always easy, but these fit perfectly. I’m very happy with the final result and will certainly be coming back. Thank you, Mr Ali, for your excellent customer service and for making sure everything was sorted properly. Highly recommended!
