- TWTom Waterland2 days ago5.0The appointment was very prompt, bang on time, & thorough, the lady who did the test was 1st class & very accommodating given I am hard of hearing which didn’t make her job easy. Selecting glasses & lenses easy & not pressured too.
- AGAndrea Gresty5 days ago5.0Super service, great advice with nothing too much trouble. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Particularly good service from the manager who gave me a great deal and took time to help me choose the right frame.
- JDJudith DrummondOct 7, 20263.0I was a returning customer to Vision Express. To be honest my second visit back to them after laser eye surgery following cataract surgery did not make me feel particularly welcome back to them. It was very long winded and because I had bought my current frames from another opticians after the cataract surgery only two years ago at great expense I am very worried after being told that if, when my new lenses are being fitted and the frame cracks then they will only give me £70 towards new frames. This is after spending £180 with them for my new lenses! I do not feel valued by Vision Express. The whole experience was slow and I was booked in to see a man called Saleem but when I got there I saw someone else and was told that “things change” which frankly isn’t good enough. I am very worried that it’s all going to go wrong when my new lenses arrive! They also could not adjust my current frames because I didn’t buy them from them!
- NLNigel LimbrickOct 2, 20265.0Very good, thorough testing. I have a history of eye problems and the extra deep scan really put my mind at ease that there were no problems apparent. The staff were very friendly and put you at ease plus my wife was able to utilise her blue light card and made a substantial saving on a pair of reading glasses!
- DLDavid LesserSep 30, 20262.0I went to get new lenses that I was quoted for two weeks ago after an eye test. Suddenly there was an extra £70 on the price for having them fitted in existing frames! Two problems with this: 1. It wasn't included in the original quote 2. It is too much, I might accept £30, maybe even £40, but £70, I could have got new frames for that and then fitting would be free, but I can stand the thought of throwing away good frames, it is wasteful.
