  The staff are lovely and attentive, plus the food was tasty and fulfilling. Fantastic facilities too. An all-around great gym.

  The facilities are lovely and always have been. However a recent altercation with my 4 year old has scared me. It was a hot day so me and my child were in the outside pool… he said he needed the toilet so I said to him let’s go in which we went to our sun lounger so I could get my sandals. There was a gap between us with no other guests, unfortunately in that moment he had an accident and directly stood saying he can’t hold it. This was not only embarrassing as a parent but also humiliating to how the lifeguard handled this. I watched him laugh while speaking to other staff members about the situation. I quickly apologised to the bloke that came with a mop and left. The female lifeguards on duty were very friendly but the male lifeguards were miserable.

  I only joined the club in December and I already feel like I’ve been here years. The staff & members are so friendly and welcoming. Facilities are really good and it’s not as intimidating or as crowded as I expected. I’ve recently got into padel and I must give a shout out Giles. He’s a great coach and very approachable and helpful. The socials are really well organised and again attended by super friendly members and great fun is always had. I can’t rate the club highly enough.

  Had such a great time at the taster session today! The whole experience was really enjoyable, relaxed and welcoming from start to finish. Giles was an excellent padel coach — friendly, patient and really encouraging, which made the session so much fun. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and wants everyone to have a good time. I came away smiling and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of giving padel a try!

  I had a great time at the padel taster session with Giles at David Lloyd Gloucester. He was a fantastic coach—really clear, encouraging, and made it fun from the start. I thoroughly enjoyed the session and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to give padel a try!
