  Taking a helicopter view here it was way better when this place opened as Esporta around 2007. The indoor courts have seen much better days, they have lost 2 outdoor tennis courts to make way for a Spa Garden and 2 outdoor Padel courts. The aforesaid Padel Courts are uncovered meaning you are dependent on favourable weather if you can play. Many years ago it had a 'dome' for the outdoor courts but that has long gone. The management clearly think Customer Care was someone who fought in the US Civil war. They offer a chance to win a months free membership and give a away a guest pass if you post a favourable review which explains a few things on here. The car park is a free for all with members inventing their own spaces and parking anywhere they like with nothing being done and the car park barriers are often not in operation. Not what it s once was sadly, the customer is hardly at the centre of what they do and typical of a corporate set up owned by a private equity firm.

  Excellent gym, facilities are superb and the staff very friendly. Special shout out the the staff that clean the changing rooms, always looks spotless

  Beautiful health club - so much more than a gym and the spa is incredible. It would be even better with treatment rooms. The staff are lovely - really helpful, friendly and kind. The food is good quality and priced reasonably. You can definitely spend an entire day here. The cost is (as you might expect) very expensive for most people. That said, if you can afford it then I would absolutely recommend it.

  David Lloyd Gloucester is truly amazing. I honestly couldn’t live without it! It’s my safe haven, a place where I can relax, recharge and feel supported. I’m so grateful to Carrie Ann For Zumba and Steve for their incredible yoga sessions and for always pushing me to be better. Their encouragement and dedication make such a difference. A huge thank you also to Louise and her team for always being so supportive, welcoming and helpful. The care and positivity they bring make David Lloyd Gloucester such a special place. I’m incredibly grateful for everything you do! 🙏🏽❤️

  Came for an introductory viewing. The social area was quite busy which made me think that the other areas would be difficult to access, but with so much available to do this wasn’t the case. Louise showed me round and was an absolute delight. No hard sell, explained everything and answered all my questions. ImEverything appeared very clean and well maintained. I’ll be joining.
