  I recently visited this pharmacy as I had been unwell for over a week and my symptoms were getting progressively worse. I asked to see the pharmacist, hoping for some advice or guidance or antibiotic if needed. At the counter, I was immediately advised to take paracetamol, which I explained I had already been taking for a week, along with Lemsip, which had started to cause stomach discomfort. The pharmacist overheard part of my conversation and raised his voice across the counter, in front of other customers, asking about my symptoms and the colour of my mucus.... I felt very uncomfortable with how this was handled. I was then told that they could not assist me, I would need to contact my GP if it might be a chest infection. What was particularly frustrating is that I had previously visited this same pharmacy with similar symptoms and was prescribed antibiotics at the time. (Different pharmacist) On this occasion, I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. I later went to another pharmacy, where I was properly assessed and did receive appropriate treatment. Overall, I found the service unprofessional and embarrassing, and I would not choose to return based on this experience.

  Diabolical service take over 12 hours to dispense emergency antibiotics - never even have the decency to answer the phone - Pharmacists are impersonal and hide in the background

  I just wanted to leave a review to say a huge thank you to the team at Tesco Pharmacy this evening. After a really stressful day and not feeling great, the compassion and care I received made such a difference. The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. A special shout out to Beth, who is a real credit to the pharmacy. Her smile and friendly tone were exactly what I needed — she instantly put me at ease. I also want to thank the staff member who delayed her break to help me. I believe it was either Jill or Hannah — and the other one supported by dispensing my medication quickly. The empathy and understanding they showed genuinely meant a lot at a time when I wasn’t feeling my best. Olu, the pharmacist, took the time to clearly explain the medication to me, which was really reassuring. This isn’t my usual pharmacy, but after the service I received today, I will definitely be changing my pharmacy of choice. Thank you all for going above and beyond — it truly didn’t go unnoticed.

  Went to get husband's prescription and I said that I thought he had pre-paid certificate but didn't have it with me. I asked if they had it on file. They lady said, "it's not our job to check" rudely (my pharmacy has mine saved and ticks it off) She handed it to me and told me to sign the back. She gave me a receipt and told me to claim back another day when I have the certificate. Sent my husband in and they have no forms to claim and could not do it now regardless as the form should be issued on the day you pay from what I can tell online? Not great.
