  As always the staff here are fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable and helpful and I’ve never felt that I’m being pressured to go for any options or upgrades I don’t need. By far the best opticians I’ve ever used.

  My experience could not be any more positive as Robert and the Team were just superb from start to finish going through the process or ordering, my new glasses and my wife's. Service was impeccable and the interaction with the Staff was friendly and professional and they really cared which is something is severely lacking in the world today. Do not go anywhere else but here when you are looking for new glasses ..... Thank you ... Jackie R.

  Really positive experience at Vision Express on Byres Road. I booked an appointment for new glasses and the eye test and contact lens check were both very smooth. Robert helped me choose my next pair of glasses and really went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable and helped me end up with the Meta Ray-Ban Wayfarers, which I’m really pleased with and wasn’t expecting to get. Very friendly store overall, Kudos to Robert. Highly recommended.

  I've been served by janie twice now absolutely fantastic service really helpful patient spent the time helping me never was rushed at any point and due to service they provided my vision hasn't been as sharp and clear in many many years I owe this store and janie a massive thanks as due to the glasses and sharper vision and actually pairs I wanted not been under pressure to take a pair wasn't happy with i am absolutely delighted with sets I've chosen janie did help by see if wanted try others on but 100% was comfortable as it was to see what type frame type and colour never once was pressed into change my mind or anything I should of went to vision express a long long time ago would of been more happier and comfortable in myself actually ware my glasses and that's a good thing for anyone self conscious and appearance really really happy and 1000% if same customer service and great glasses I definitely be traveling up as it's absolutely worth the travel anytime thank you update to this review for jenie on 30/05/2026 I just want to say a massive thank you for help with getting prescription lenses for my sunglasses and helping me with options on shade colour for lenses for only got them yesterday due to personal medical condition the sun can go for my eyes or a bright day and with jenie's help as first time prescription sunglasses with going through the shades looking through them in shop and turning to window to see what one i prefared can't thank enough I've been attempted from other places to be forced into pick something am not happy with and felt they wanted most money out me happy or not but not the service I received from Jenie she was kind polite professional let me take my time helped look for glasses I pesifcly liked mean I said the types of frame shapes etc and helped me look to see what liked best best service I've had for glasses in a long time and for it's a bit of a hassle coming from Dumbarton I would say to anyone you wouldn't regret the travel as totally worth it and I can be a really busy person but totally go out my way anytime to attend as glasses I wanted not gave a selection to pick from like or not up in this store I got frames I wanted lenses I wanted also and forgot to add in last time you can see jenie got the customers best interest as wanted to jump into my sunglasses not known if I would like a different verifocal total respect for have my interests rather than a sale is a sale and not caring I got total care and respect
