  Cannot think how an Opticians could be better! Starting with the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve had, from a friendly experienced professional whose focus is on your overall eye health and not simply processing you to achieve some numbers for a prescription. Already recommended to family members who have been getting eye tests for years and have had potential long term issues flagged that no one mentioned before. You’re then surrounded by an almost daunting selection of designer Frames, but Huda and Iona are on hand to offer helpful and genuine styling and fitting advice, meaning you end up with totally bespoke, custom made final product. For something you wear everyday you deserve the best and this team has to be top tier! Would recommend to anyone!

  I had a first class experience recently having my eyes tested and picking new glasses! The eye test was my routine eye test -I need to have eyesight checked every two years now as I wear glasses every day for general sight and reading!I felt extremely confident in the optician who checked my sight and eye health and gave me my prescription test take away with me ! I then decided to opt for vari-focal lenses which transitioned to sunglasses in sunshine also! I was helped by the lovely assistant Huda who was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me letting me try lots of options and advising me on lens colours with several different frames! I eventually decided on beautiful Chanel frames which are stunning and have turned out exactly as she said they would! They even got them made up for me on time for my holiday which was a fabulous surprise!!!!! I couldn’t be happier! Thankyou so much to both of you for your expertise and care!

  A bit difficult to find, so give yourself an extra time for an appointment! The facility is great & the optometrists are professional.

  Arrived at the opticians in Edinburgh only to be told that I would not get the free eye test I was entitled to in Scotland. The John Lewis website clearly stated that eye tests for customers in Scotland would be free.
