  Just avoid. I have used this pharmacy as my nominated pharmacy for over six months, and unfortunately the service has been consistently poor. Almost every month I have had to visit at least three times, often more, simply to collect one prescription. I never attend immediately after a prescription is issued. I normally allow five to seven days, yet I am repeatedly asked whether I have “given it 72 hours” or received a text message. I have never received a text. On more than one occasion I have been told that my medication was not there, only to return the following day and be told that it had actually been waiting there for several days. This gives the impression that prescriptions are simply not being checked properly. My most recent experience was particularly unacceptable. I allowed approximately two weeks before going in. Staff initially could not find my prescription and then suggested that I had already collected it, which I had not. Eventually they found it, but the medication was unavailable and I was given the prescription back so I could try another pharmacy. When I arrived at another pharmacy, I was told that the prescription had not actually been released back into the electronic system, meaning they could not dispense it. I therefore had to return to Tesco yet again. Instead of an apology, I was spoken to extremely rudely. Eventually I was simply told that it had now been released and I could go back to the other pharmacy. What was particularly concerning was that staff at the other pharmacy told me they regularly see people coming from Tesco Pharmacy in Hastings with similar problems, including prescriptions that have not been properly released back into the system. Prescription medication is not something that can be treated this casually. Some medicines need to be taken consistently, and patients may not be able to request their next prescription significantly in advance. Repeated delays and administrative mistakes can therefore leave people without medication. After more than six months of repeated problems, multiple unnecessary journeys and increasingly unpleasant interactions with staff, I have changed my nominated pharmacy. Going there had reached the point where I genuinely felt anxious about collecting my prescription because I expected another problem or confrontation. Mistakes occasionally happen in any pharmacy. What I experienced here was not an occasional mistake but a consistent pattern of poor organisation, poor communication and, unfortunately, extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend this pharmacy.

  Went to get prescription which they had up to 7days still not ready and told to wait 30 to 40 minutes very rudely with a bad back yeah I'm sure that not happening

  The slowest pharmacy in the whole country. Rude staff. Text to say medication is ready but then it is actually not!

  Hit or miss pharmacy. Always get asked if I’ve received a text, however they often surpass their 72 hour timeframe. If I’ve had something prescribed I usually need it within the next day or so. Currently use these as my pharmacy, but will be changing due to recent long waits, and mix ups their end which caused me to go back and forth. Shame, as when I’ve had good service it’s been great!
