  We were on holiday in Eastbourne and came across Amplifon and as my 91 year old husband has become more deaf we went in on the off chance. It turned out to be the best decision as Justin took us in hand with a gentle manner and with absolutely no pressure on making a purchase. As it happened because of the very good tests he gave us, I had asked to be tested as I knew I was getting deaf, we decided to be fitted. Justin talked to us in great deal explaining about our individual deafness and our weaknesses and we had free rein to choose exactly what we wanted. Thank you Justin for spending four hours with us on a totally relaxed way, getting to know each other and leaving Amplifon most satisfied. More time than usual was spent discussing personal things as the time had gone past the time for closing shop!

  I had an appointment at the Eastbourne centre for 10h00 yesterday, which I arranged some while ago. I had a text reminder about the appointment from Amplifon on Monday so everything seemed fine. I live in St Leonards-on-sea so went by train as the centre is very close to the railway station. I got there at the right time only to find the centre was closed, with a notice on the door that it was closed on Tuesdays! What an incompetent business to arrange an appointment on a day that they must have known the centre would be closed. I phoned to try and find out more and left a message to complain about the situation. I have still not received a reply to this message so I guess the incompetence extends to customer relations. I had no other reason to go to Eastbourne that day so it was a waste of my time and the cost of the return train fare.

  I recently had a nasty fall and one of my hearing aids was badly damaged. I made an appointment with Justin, the audiologist. He was incredibly helpful and supportive. Luckily my aid was still under warranty and it was replaced within two weeks. When I collected my aid my hearing was checked and both aids updated. Technology at its best.

  So delighted with my Amplifon hearing aids. The difference it has made to my life is wonderful. I cannot fault the audiologist or staff whom are always so helpful and courteous.
