  I’m really disappointed with the swimming pool area. There is constantly hair everywhere — around the pool, in the pool, in the showers and throughout the changing rooms. There is also often a strong smell of urine, which makes the whole area feel very unhygienic. When children are messing around during the swim lane sessions, the lifeguards do not step in and deal with the situation, which is infuriating. People are there to exercise during swim lane sessions. Considering this is a new centre, it seems to be deteriorating very quickly. They also need to add more early-evening swim lane sessions to accommodate people who work during week days. The fitness class schedule is another issue. Pilates on a Sunday seems to be cancelled regularly, and Pilates has still not been reinstated on a weekday evening after being replaced by yet another yoga class. Epping really needs to do better. Waltham Abbey is currently offering a much better leisure experience in the area, and they also have a steam room and sauna — something Epping is lacking. Hopefully these issues can be addressed, because the centre has the potential to be much better than it currently is.

  Great staff, fab selection of classes with friendly instructors. Spacious gym with all the equipment you could possibly need. Staff on hand to assist. Two great sized pools with lessons for kids, aqua aerobics, fun swim etc. Free parking after 6pm in multistory next door with a card given by the leisure centre. Clean and inviting, powerful aircon in the summer months! and close to high street. Highly recommend.

  Love using the swimming pool, water is nice and warm . Use the lane swim at weekends Changing rooms and facilities good too
