I just wanted to give a shoutout to Bo who helped me when I had admin membership issues. She was very patient and kept apologising for issues that weren’t her fault to begin with. We were about the sort the issue out eventually, but she is really the sweetest person. Thank you Bo!

Having a swimming pool right on our doorstep is lovely! My son tried the inflatable obstacle course today. At £10 for 1 hour, it felt a little pricey, but he had the absolute best time. Plus, the staff were extremely helpful and polite.

Brand new equipment, everything clean and organised, staff super friendly and helpful. But, for a brand new facility, and a membership that is £60 a month, I'm surprisingly underwhelmed. I joined in January when it first opened and mainly use it for the gym facilities and weight training. My main issue is space. It's a pretty small gym area, with only 5 benches, 3 floor mats and limited room for anything but walking. I go at 11am when it is fairly quiet, but even then I struggle to be able to use everything I need to and have had to cut my workouts short because I can't get on machines/floor mats/benches/equipment. Can't imagine what it's like at peak times. Even the locker space in the hall is compact, with no bench to set your stuff down on while you pack up. Directly after a class let's out it can be a struggle to move around so many people in such a small area. I think one move they can make to improve the experience for members is to open up a studio when there isn't a class on. Putting one member of staff in there to supervise and then allowing people to come in and use the equipment and space would be great! I think this would encourage people to take their time doing workouts and stretching without pressure. As of right now, I don't think it's worth the £60 a month price tag. I do understand it's early days though, hopefully things will improve.

Overall nice clean leisure centre. Although the lady on reception needs to work on customer service skills, quite abrupt and also having multiple conversations with colleagues and customers.
