  Shocking pharmacy waited 0ver 45 minutes for my prescription in which I am ill waiting for them not good enough need more staff . Lady looked overwhelmed felt sorry for her

  Needs to be shut down. Every time I’ve been here I’ve waited and waited. Then more waiting. They don’t have a clue for what they’re doing. Have no sympathy for their customers. Stuff are rudeeeee! It’s an embarrassment. Tesco should be ashamed.

  I wasn't able to get an appointment at the doctor to treat a painful condition that arose this morning but Victor the Pharmacist was a great help to me in confirming my illness and prescribing medication to treat it.

  I’ve had to move pharmacies as it was so frustrating collecting prescriptions here. There is almost always a long queue and they have recently introduced a 3/4 working day wait to collect prescriptions electronically sent to them. Several times very common prescription medications were not in stock. I have moved to Christchurch who have prescriptions ready the same day and will even deliver them for free. I think the Tesco pharmacy is incredibly over subscribed with patients and they simply cannot cope. *Edit 10/08/24* I suffer from IBS and have had a horrendous flare up today, only able to get out of bed in the late afternoon having not eaten all day. My usual drugs weren’t helping so I went to Tesco to get Mebeverine; an over the counter medication. There was a young girl on the counter and she asked the pharmacist for it. “It’s prescription only” he said to her - without even acknowledging me - and walked off on his break without even a quick discussion about why I need it or a suggestion of an alternative! And worst of all, he was 100% wrong - Mebeverine is over the counter. I am now going to be in agony until late tonight when my husband returns from work and can go to the out of hours pharmacy in Chelmsford. This pharmacy is an absolute clown show, giving inaccurate information, taking a week to fill repeat prescriptions, not having enough of very common prescription medicines and asking you to come back for the rest and when you do they have no record made that they owe you medicine! I have never encountered anything like it at any other pharmacy and If I knew who on earth runs it I would complain. AVOID!
