It was over a week since a repeat prescription for 1 item had been sent to the pharmacy from my Drs surgery so I phoned to check if there was a problem.I was first told they hadn't received it then that changed to "Oh I'll just check a different section" so after a few minutes she said "the item is out of stock and we can't get any more from the supplier so you'll have to try other Chemists to see if they have some in". I started to tell her that the last time this happened I ask my Dr for an alternative, but before I could finish my sentence she interrupted me and said "Oh no, we can't do that, thank you for phoning, Goodbye" and just hung up on me which I think is extremely rude. Also if they are not able to get an item at all why can't they inform a patient instead of just not bothering?
