  I found it to be a very robotic experience. There was no warmth. I felt like I was on a conveyor belt and left the shop feeling disenchanted with the entire experience.

  Thank you to the team for being kind and compassionate. I felt I was able to take my time to choose which glasses were for me. I would definitely come back and recommend Vision Express to other people. I specifically want to say thank you to Richard and Théy.

  Had an appointment on Thursday and after all the tests had been done I was introduced to Veh to help me through the process of choosing my new glasses. I then had the best customer service experience Veh was so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable a real credit to the team. Everyone needs to be a bit more Veh!

  Went today. Staff all in very casual clothes and looked scruffy. The waiting room was grubby. Dirty floor, filthy skirting boards covered in dust and dirt. Water machine with limescale on it. Doors all marked and grubby. This is supposed to be a medical facility. I left without getting my eyes tested. I didn't need to!

  You’re in the best and safest hands with Veh. I’m really not someone who normally writes reviews, but I genuinely felt I had to after my experience with Veh. In fact, he converted me back to Vision Express after an unpleasant experience years ago. What started as a completely random pop into Vision Express just to have a look somehow ended with me getting my eye test done and choosing glasses I’m genuinely excited about — and a huge part of that was down to him. Veh wasn’t just friendly; he was incredibly attentive, patient and genuinely person-centred. Glasses are expensive and they’re something you’re going to wear all the time, so choosing the right pair can feel like quite an investment (at least it does for me). He really took the time to understand what suited me, what I liked, and also encouraged me to try things I probably wouldn’t have picked up myself. In fact, some of the frames and lens shades he suggested weren’t ones I would naturally have gone for — or even thought I could pull off — but he clearly knows what he’s doing and my glasses are all the better for it. I couldn’t be happier with what I chose. What I appreciated most was that he was honest. At no point did it feel like he was simply trying to sell me something. He was enthusiastic when something genuinely worked, gave proper advice, and made the whole experience feel personal without ever being pushy. Having worked in customer service myself, I know how difficult it is to make someone feel genuinely looked after rather than simply served. Veh manages that effortlessly. He’s brilliant at what he does, incredibly kind, and a real credit to Vision Express. I walked in with absolutely no intention of buying glasses that day and left genuinely excited about them. That probably says it all.
