Used to be great, but now seems very oversubscribed and full of kids at all times. If your looking to join I’d recommend viewing at the times you would normally train to see what its like during peak times. Personally I dont think its worth nearly 90 a month for a pool thats virtually unswimable and a gym thats rammed. When the hot weather hits pool times are changed at last minute favouring families rather than those that like to swim for exercise. Staff are generally friendly, but I just think the relaxing atmosphere is non-existent anymore. The cleanliness is not what it was either. Parking is difficult also, the club in all fairness have tried to accommodate by providing overflow spaces but much of the time these are all full and people park wherever they feel like it.

My husband and I had an introductory tour with Jamie today and he was absolutely wonderful! Very informative and knowledgable as well as being super approachable and polite. We have signed our whole family up for Platinum Membership and can’t wait to start using all of the top-class facilities at this very impressive club.

I’ve been a member at David Lloyd Dudley and honestly, for the price, it’s quite disappointing. The facilities themselves are decent, but the main issue is how overcrowded the club gets.
The gym floor is often very busy, with people waiting around for equipment or just standing near machines, which makes it hard to get a proper workout in. It feels like there isn’t enough space for the number of members, especially during peak times.
The same problem applies to the pool and spa areas. They are regularly packed, with very limited space to actually swim or relax. At times it feels more like a leisure centre than a premium club, with lots of kids and families taking up most of the space.
I understand it’s a family-oriented club, but if you’re paying a premium membership and mainly want to train or relax, it can be frustrating. There just isn’t enough room to enjoy the facilities properly.
Overall, it’s not a terrible club, but it doesn’t live up to the high monthly cost if your focus is fitness and having enough space to use the gym and pool comfortably.
