- AAAwderukAug 23, 20261.0Vehicle had been keyed on 4 different occasions whilst parked in front of cctv. Despite not having any issues with anyone inside or outside their premises. When asked about cctv in reception, they couldn’t care less and said cctv does not work. Why even have a cctv if it doesn’t work? How can I possibly be paying over £150 a month and not have my vehicle not be safe on your property?

- HSHarsahib SAug 8, 20261.0I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at David Lloyd Derby. My car was keyed while parked in the gym car park, leaving me with a repair bill of around £700. Considering I’m paying circa £150 every month for membership, I find it completely unacceptable that there is apparently no CCTV covering the car park. For a gym charging this level of membership fee, you would expect basic security measures to be in place, particularly in an area where members are leaving expensive vehicles for hours at a time. I appreciate that David Lloyd may not be directly responsible for someone damaging my car, but the complete lack of CCTV means there is no way of identifying who did it or even properly investigating what happened. For the price members are paying, the security and facilities should be much better. I’m extremely disappointed and would strongly encourage David Lloyd Derby to review the security arrangements in the car park. And for this reason cannot recommend this gym.
