  I had a really good experience here today. The optometrist, Jumana, was absolutely lovely. She was professional, courteous and very thorough and I felt completely comfortable in her hands. She explained everything very clearly. I would strongly recommend!!

  I had a very positive experience at David Clulow Cardiff today. I originally went in expecting to simply update my old glasses, but the consultation turned out to be much more helpful than I expected. Jordan (I hope I have the correct name – I found it on my invoice) was extremely professional, patient and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. To be honest, my review is mainly about him rather than the store itself. The store environment and the eye test area were fairly standard, but Jordan’s service was truly outstanding. He did not feel like a typical salesperson. He felt more like a professional consultant who genuinely wanted to help me find the most suitable option. He understood my needs, explained the differences between various frames and lenses clearly, and gave very fair advice. He even advised against some more expensive options when they were not the best fit for me, which I really appreciated. Lens choices are now much more complicated than a few years ago, with different options depending on prescription, astigmatism and daily use. If I had chosen by myself, I probably would have simply picked the more expensive option without knowing what was actually suitable. With his guidance, I only needed to focus on the frame colour and style I liked, which made the process much easier and more reassuring. I ended up choosing both everyday glasses and prescription sunglasses, and I am very happy with the choices. I have purchased glasses from the same place before, but this was by far the most professional and helpful consultation I have had there. Jordan is definitely someone who deserves recognition for his excellent service. If any of my friends need new glasses in the future, I would recommend coming here and asking for his advice.

  Lara was really kind and helpful! I came in yesterday to see if I can get my glasses tightened as they had been bothering me for weeks. I’d gone to another place beforehand and their adjustments hadn’t made any difference. She did an amazing job in a really short amount of time. Seems like a small thing but it’s made a huge difference for me, thank you!!
