  Usual great service. Eye test with no pressure to buy. All options explained, including best value, savings etc. My last pair from here were damaged by my grandkids, and repaired for free, lense fell out new frame for free. Would highly recommend

  Attended today with multiple booked appointments. They were pre booked in advance and it was confirmed to me each individual was due. I also checked if this was a chargeable vision check as it had been 2 years since my last. The person I spoke to confirmed and said no fee/ or charge. On our arrival, no greetings, eventually called in for a pressure check polite lady and for some reason another one comes in. I'm in the middle of my eye screening. And they are disputing over whether I'm chargeable or not.One member wanting to charge me another one not. Chaotic, lacked professionalism. Had staff walking in on me during assessment over a £25 fee. I cant tell you the amount of times I Confirmed yes no problem I will pay the charge despite there muddle and missinformation and inaccuracies of staff. I attended for an eye test and always pay for our glasses and services used. I have visited this particular opticians and never faced such at work politics and unprofessionalism. During this booked family appointment. I asked if it was possible that i could charge my phone as i knew i was in for a bill renewing family members eye wear and my phone had died. It was to prevent me having to go to the car and fast charge it. To then the optician and manager decided that I couldn't pay for my test without my phone. Thats not what I said or what happened. I then said if said manager making all these decisions would like to come and speak me to resolve this bizarre miscommunication. And no charger was allowed. After 5 mins later she appears no introduction, not friendly in her approach, un helpful. No hi my name is, lets sort this for you. Nothing Just whats the problem. My only problem was my vision had deteriorated and I was attended a scheduled appointment. Been left waiting around, miss communicated to and I didn't actually know what was the problem and what was going on here. This idea I wouldn't be able to pay for the service that I hadn't even had that I had been sat there waiting for with history of a being a working adult, law abiding citizen to where I produced my physical cards to say what are you exactly disputing, with a historic purchase history at this store. Unreal. Lennie was the name given to me no badge, refused to give me others names of those there, so unprofessional a group of 5 of them and none of them know whats going on. They then decided that they had kept me waiting that much that it was to late for my eye test and I needed to have a latter appointment. If your charging customers for a service then you actually need to provide a professional service. You wasted my time, made a customer humiliated, and actually caused distress dealing with the poor treatment here today. So guys if you have to pay for your vision check then don't come here as you will face a big drama. Awful experience you have lost a long time family customer.
