  Just wanted to thank the young female pharmacist who served me today, prescription wasn’t quite ready so asked me to wait ten minutes and only took 7 or 8 and bought it to me, exceptional service with a smile.thank you

  I came into pick my prescription up today. I was served by a lady with a black ponytail. I said I was there to pick up a prescription and that I was prescribed it 12 days ago and was wondering if it was still there.She said she would check for me. All was fine and normal until after I payed. She asked me if I was referring to them saying that they didn’t know what they were doing. I asked her to repeat herself cause I was confused and assumed I had missed heard her as I never said anything like that. She then repeated the statement and I replied with no I’ve just forgotten to come and get it. She replied back with a raised voice saying yeah because we do know what we are doing. This is all bearing in mind that I was smiling the whole time being polite. Very rude worker she was giving me nasty looks before she even served me. Do not recommend.

  Following an urgent NHS 111 assessment for an allergic reaction to a wasp sting, I was referred to this pharmacy to collect antibiotics. On arrival, I was told their online system was down. After a very brief conversation, the pharmacist dismissed my concerns and refused to supply the antibiotics recommended by NHS 111, despite my leg being extremely painful, red, swollen, inflamed, and hard to the touch. I was simply told that it “wasn’t infected yet,” and she turned me away. NHS 111 had also advised me to ask about obtaining an EpiPen for future allergic reactions, but I was dismissed before I had the opportunity to discuss this. I work as an Anaesthetic Practitioner, and after leaving the pharmacy, both a surgeon and several colleagues assessed my leg and agreed that antibiotic treatment was appropriate. Overall, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously, and I was disappointed by the lack of assessment, competence and advice provided.
