  This is a busy little pharmacy and always on the go. It's advisable to do your shopping on the same.visit and check in with them before filling your trolley/basket. They are always helpful with first aid enquiries and medical advice to suit your needs. Helpful and polite to a fault.

  Absolutely horrofic experience, there was NO queue, 2 people were already being seen and there were no "queue here" signs, so me and my children stood infront of the desk waitiing to be served, in my local pharmacy there are two lines, one for prescriptions and one for the OTC counter, I stood at what I thought was the OTC one as that's what I needed. I was then spoken to by a rude young lady working there, I don't know who she was because she didn't have a name tag or anything and she then "advised" me that there was a queue, I replied that there wasn't when I started standing there and was clearly next, she then walked back behind the counter, said something about me to her colleague that made her laugh, and she she replied " Yeah, I would have done the same", she then smirked when another male customer decied to join in and make a snarky comment, both of my children were with me so I couldn't say anything without starting an incident She then came back and served the lady that was next after me, the lady advised that I was there before but she continued her service, the female customer apologised to me and said she felt awkward. She then came back to me and said the reason she didn't serve me before was because I was rude, I absolutelty was not, even my 12 year old daughter and 7 year old son spoke up and said I wasn't. I asked her politely what I said that was rude, she ignored that asked abrutly what I wanted and completed my transaction. This was the absolute worse customer service I've had so far, I was not rude, I was dressed in scruffy clothes as I was repairing the stables all day and was only passing through. If this is how Tesco's treat their customers, I'm happy to have ASDA as my local, I will not be returning.

  The worse pharmacy ever... very unhelpful staff ,they didn't have any nasal spray for babies that we needed for our little boy .They didn't recommend anything instead, oh sorry they did Boots which is closed on weekends. How come they can be called a pharmacy, if they haven't got the basic medicines. Very disappointing

  I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction following an utterly appalling experience at the Tesco Pharmacy in Launceston, which occurred recently and has left both myself and my partner extremely distressed. The manager on duty, whose name we understand to be Hyder conducted himself in a manner that can only be described as profoundly rude, arrogant, and entirely unbecoming of someone in a position of responsibility within a public-facing healthcare service. My girlfriend approached the pharmacy seeking assistance and clarity regarding a medical matter, only to be met with dismissiveness, misleading information, and a patronising tone that was both unnecessary and inappropriate. Mr Hyder not only failed to provide accurate guidance, but his condescending attitude and complete lack of empathy caused her visible emotional distress — to the point of tears. Such behaviour is not only unprofessional but deeply concerning given the vulnerability of those seeking pharmaceutical care. It is entirely unacceptable that a member of staff representing a brand as prominent as Tesco should treat customers in this way. I would like to know the formal channels through which a complaint can be lodged against this individual. This experience has severely shaken our trust in the pharmacy team at Launceston, and I believe it warrants both a formal apology and an internal investigation into Mr Hyder’s conduct and suitability for his role. Tesco customers deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect — qualities that were entirely absent during this encounter.
