  Daniella was wonderful, very friendly, helpful and informative, she took a real interest in my Dad George and our family. By the time he’d been sorted with his fantastic hearing aids we felt we’d gained a new family friend as well as better hearing! Thank you Daniella!

  I was aware that my hearing wasn't as good because I couldn't hear birdsong and was asking people to repeat things more often. A few years of NHS hearing tests told me I was on the edge of normal, but nothing further was suggested. I am very glad to have gone privately to Boots in Carlisle. First I had a hearing test with Martyn, he is a totally nice guy with a good sense of humour. Then I had a more detailed hearing test with Daniella, she is lovely, very professional and considerate. The hearing aids available varied in price from £600ish to £4000ish. As the price increases, the hearing aids' ability to cope with different surroundings increases, so I expect you should choose as near to the top of the range or as you can afford. My hearing aids are very light, I don't really know I've got them on and I don't have to mess with batteries, they get charged by the dock they are stored in. Since getting hearing aids everything is sharper and the TV is on a lower volume. I highly recommend Daniella and co for being such a nice team.

  Superb. Had put off another hearing assessment for good while after very hard sell at another outlet. Glad I switched to Boots Carlisle, where Danielle was really patient and not at all pushy. Very thorough hearing assessment and evaluation. Really clear in what I needed and product to advise upon. The journey starts at purchasing them. For the first week or so the hearing aids are set to partial prescription and asked to note experience in a number of different surroundings. The return visit is to tweak the prescription, and asked to give it two weeks and come back to see if any fine tuning is needed. Once "tuned in" the follow-up will be a regular annual check up and hearing test. Throughout Danielle was very keen to emphasise that I was free to return at any time with questions or issues. Tremendous service. Absolutely recommended this branch for hearing assessment where it's about the patient and not about a quick buck. Got a good deal being a Boots Advantage Card holder.

  The service is generally good and the product range fine but the website is very poor indeed and needs attention. It is not user friendly and appears not to welcome accessory buyers directing users to the appointment section first. Delivery of purchases is also slow and not well informed.
