Awful experience from start to finish. Feel completely ripped off by specsavers. Staff did not show much interest either. 2 pairs of glasses cost me a small fortune. Never again.

Pricey and tricky to find 2 pairs of glasses which I liked, took ages to find and choose. Staff were busy with other customers and nobody picked up that I was struggling. Staff member seemed unsure about what he was doing. On collection of the glasses it felt rushed and lacked customer interest or care. I feel totally ripped off by specsavers and feel the 2 for 1 pitch is too expensive particularly if you need varifocal lenses. I really wished I'd tried Vision Express or at least got a quote from them to compare. I won't be using Specsavers again.

Do specsavers staff work on commission?? Sold my elderly mother a prescription she didn't even need. £180 for lenses (each) a pair of frames one for reading and for driving plus trial for contact lenses £70 per month. She couldn't see properly when wearing either, so went back to discover prescription wasn't needed and was quickly refunded. CROOKS

I am very impressed by the optician that I saw today. I have suffered with dry eyes for about 5 years. Drops have made no difference. Finally I had a test with some orange dye to check the dryness of my eyes. Results are I have Blepharitis and the eye drops I have used in the past were not treating this problem. The spec saver optician recommended the correct eyedrops and told me how to take care of my dry eyes. Thank you very much.
