  I have been attending this branch for my eye tests for the past two years, and I’m very glad I made the change. My experiences here have consistently been excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, polite and efficient, and they always take the time to address any concerns thoroughly. During my most recent visit, Umar conducted my eye examination and was especially helpful. He was professional, efficient and thorough throughout, and made the whole experience very positive. I’m extremely satisfied with the service I have received at this branch and would happily continue returning here for my future eye tests.

  Vision Express eye care plan is a rip off - don’t be fooled by discounts their glasses are twice the price of everywhere else in the first place . Be very aware of the eye care plan - my wife has just been in today for an eye test as recommended when we took the plan out 22 months ago - we were told to come back before the plan ended to make sure her eyesight hasn’t changed. It has changed by 0.5 and we were now informed that they wouldn’t re-glaze under the terms of the plan and we would have to pay again - this was not made clear at the time of purchase and again 5 months ago when I also purchased 2 pairs of glasses. We feel misled and ripped off.

  Waiting for over 20 minutes to then be told the optician is stuck in traffic! I left early to avoid traffic to make sure I made my appointment! Not professional at all!! Will be going somewhere else!

  ★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs. We had an eye test on 8th May, due to time constraints I decided to return later to order a new pair. My child broke their glasses at school back in June, and months later we still don't have a working pair, because of one failure after another. First we were told no NHS code was needed because tge prescription hadn't changed, which was wrong. Then we were told nothing could be ordereed because the optician was on leave. Then the replacement glasses apparently broke while being made. Nobody called me back with updates, I had to chase constantly just to get a refund sorted, and it took several complaints to head office in July and a trip into the store in person before anything actually happened. We finally got a code, except it doesn't even work. Another optician spent over half an hour on the phone trying to sort it out for us and was told this happens regularly with this company. Regularly, and it's still not fixed weeks on. 4 months since the eye test, my child has been wearing an old pair of glasses because this company can't manage something as basic as issuing a working NHS voucher. Every time I ask, I'm told it's "with the store," and every time, nothing happens unless I chase it myself. This isn't a one off mistake, it's a pattern, and it's a child who's suffering for it. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. Attached is a screenshot of what they've been repeating...store manager has done absoloutely nothing to fix this!!!! Last communication was on Thursday 3rd Sept - repeating the same messages from the week before. Dear VE team, do not post a patronising comment telling me you value your customers or to contact customer care, I'm exhausted from banging my head against a brick wall.
