Excellent staff, very warm and welcoming environment. All my queries were dealt with, and I left the store knowing my vision would be improved and my needs be met!

My visit was very much in 2 parts. The tests were great - comprehensive, with a clear explanation of the state of my eyes and of changes since my last visit 2 years ago. However, after this, things got very confusing. My prescription was printed onto the relevant card but there was a huge lack of clarity over what happened next. I was not given proper advice over what glasses would be best for me, and was instead handed over to another staff member, whose approach seemed to be based much more around upselling than on clinical need. She hit me with a range of options, without really explaining any of them properly, and without really pausing to check how understandable everything was. As she did this, the potential money I would need to spend was simply going up and up. After 5 minutes, she asked if it made sense, and I was quite upfront with her that it didn't, and that I was completely confused. But there was then no real effort by her to go through things in a more understandable way, and shortly afterwards I ended the conversation because it was clear I wasn't getting anywhere. All in all, I would say that the eye tests were great, but there is clearly a large disconnect between your testing facilities and your commercial interests, which seem to operate quite separately from each other.

I always find visiting a nice, easy and friendly experience, there was minimal wait, friendly staff and the optician I saw (I've forgotten his name, 22 yr old male) was so professional and kind, he explained everything I asked very well and it felt like he had time for me and wasn't rushing to get my appointment done, I would really recommend.

It's always such a nice visit to Specsavers St. Neots. It's easy to make an appointment and, once there, everyone is very helpful and patient. The staff is friendly and professional and able to provide valuable advice. My sunglasses had to be reglazed and cracked in the process and it was so easy to just go back and choose new frames and put the order through at no extra cost.

Really quick service and it felt very personalised. The St Neots branch felt much more like the small family-run branches I'm used to going to, where the staff were friendly and made you feel like a valued customer. The optometrist was really knowledgeable, thorough with all the tests and made me feel reassured about the eye concerns I went in with from the GP. I would definitely visit this particular branch again. (In contrast, I would not recommend the Bedford branch to anyone! If you've been there and also had an awful experience, don't let it put you off from going to the St Neots branch as there are worlds apart!).
