Routine check up pointed out another change in vision. 5 days later both pairs glasses were ready and now all good

I had always assumed specsavers was a national chain, they are not, each is an individual franchise. That to not share details of your eye health records, they have to request those from other franchises you have used. In my case, I needed a follow up examination after my eye test, I arranged this at a different branch. When I arrived for my examination I was told even tho my details had been requested, they had not been sent by the branch that had undertaken my initial examination. This is totally unacceptable to me, I will not use specsavers again. I would add that the Blackwood branch who undertook my follow up examination were excellent and explained everything clearly and concisely upon completion. I have now been referred for further treatment.

Whilst I have no issue with the staff who tried to be as helpful as they could the consulting/examination cubicles are far too small for disabled people in wheelchairs. The appointment was for my wife and when making the appointment I explained the situation but was assured it wouldn't be a problem. I had to lift my wife out of her chair on to the stool provided for the eyes to be examined but the examination table wouldn't lower far enough and the stool was not high enough. Eventually a cushion was provided but they only had one when two were needed. The room was so tiny it was very difficult to move around. (Almost claustrophobic) There is a clear need for a larger room for disabled people to be examined more comfortably. So Specsavers sort yourselves out and provide better facilities for those with disabilities as you clearly are not at the moment.

Love the store always good with my child, and she always has a nice selection of glasses to choose from so shes a happy bunny. Sometimes these environments can be stressful or nerve racking for the children but they do play games and get them motivated to look into the machines etc.

Unfortunately . Your survey did not include space for a response to many questions. I was astonished to hear you would charge £100 extra for tinted or photochromic on my cheaper version reading glasses. The more expensive glasses would not be charged. I will always be grateful to Specsavers. You were very good to my daughter . You will always have my custom. However in the market I could buy a lot cheaper on the Web.?
